How a VIP bonus differs from a welcome bonus
A welcome bonus is an advertisement, so its conditions are published: the percentage, the cap, the multiple, the bet limit, the clock. A VIP or reload bonus is a private communication to one account, so none of that is on the site. You are shown a percentage in an email and asked to accept it, and the four numbers that decide whether it is worth anything are missing.
That asymmetry, not generosity, is the real difference between the two. An unpublished 200% reload can easily be worth less than a published 100% welcome offer, because the reload may carry a higher multiple, a bet cap, a shorter clock or a ceiling that the welcome offer does not.

A returning depositor at thirteen of these brands therefore has no published offer at all, and every reload is a private arrangement. Save the message, not the screenshot of the percentage
An unpublished offer exists only in the email or chat log that carried it. Keep the full text, with the date, before you deposit against it. If support later applies a condition you were not told about, that message is the only thing you can point to.
The five numbers to demand before accepting a VIP offer
- The multiple. A figure on its own is meaningless: 40x is normal, 3x is exceptional and both appear in the table below.
- What the multiple applies to. Bonus only, or deposit and bonus. Atefia states 35x on deposit and bonus, which doubles the work compared with 35x on the bonus alone.
- The maximum bet while the bonus is live. Three brands here publish 5. If a reload carries the same cap, your normal stake becomes a breach.
- The maximum withdrawal attached to that offer. Six brands publish one on the welcome bonus, from the bonus amount itself at Drakaris to 6x the bonus at Atefia.
- The expiry, with the time zone. Australia runs several time zones and daylight saving applies unevenly, so a bare date is not a deadline.

Why a lower multiple beats a bigger headline
Use a single A$500 deposit and a 100% match as the reference, then apply each brand's own published multiple to it. The bonus is the same in most rows. The turnover is not.

FairCrown asks for roughly a twelfth of Atefia's turnover on the same deposit, and neither headline tells you that: one advertises 100% up to 10,000 and the other 100% up to 1,000. Crownslots is the clearest example of a headline detaching from its terms, advertising 390% up to 3,700 while the first-deposit line in the conditions is 125% up to 1,000 with 100 free spins. The percentage sells the offer and the multiple decides it.
Silverplay's low figure carries its own catch: the 5x applies to the deposit but only qualifying bets count, with sports selections needing minimum odds of 1.6 and casino bets excluded where the risk is minimal or zero. A low multiple with a narrow definition of a counting bet can be slower than a high multiple with none, which is the same trap in reverse.
When reload offers actually arrive
According to an industry market brief on the Australian market, activity here is strongest in the first seven working days of a month, peaks between December and February, declines from May and stabilises by August, with the third week of a month the weakest. Offer emails tend to follow that shape, which is worth knowing for one reason: an offer timed to a payday is an offer timed to the operator's convenience, not yours.
The same brief puts average monthly earnings at about A$8,800 and annual gambling spend at roughly A$1,521 per adult, described as the highest per capita figure in the world. A reload offer arriving on payday is aimed at the first of those numbers.
