What is a sister casino?
Casino brands are cheap and casino platforms are not. So one company licences or builds a single platform, connects one set of game providers and one payment stack to it, and launches several front ends on top: different names, different themes, sometimes different target countries. Those front ends are sister casinos, and the industry also calls them a brand network or a casino group.
The reason to care is not trivia. When two sites share an operator they typically share the general terms, the bonus rulebook, the verification process, the payment methods available to an Australian account, the withdrawal timetable and the responsible gambling tools. If one of those is good, its sister probably matches it. If one of them holds a clause that trims your payout, the sister most likely holds the same clause.
| Where to look | What a shared operator looks like | How strong the signal is |
|---|---|---|
| The footer company line | The same registered company name, address or licence number on both sites | Strong. This is the contracting party, and it is the one signal worth acting on |
| The general terms | Identical clause wording and identical clause order, including the odd phrasing | Strong. Legal text is not rewritten from scratch for a new skin |
| The single sign-on screen | The same third-party login system holding one credential across several brands | Strong. A shared account system is a shared account, as the Inclave login page explains |
| The payment page | The same methods in the same order, and the same minimums and processing notes | Medium. Networks share payment stacks, but so do unrelated operators using the same provider |
| Lobby and game filters | The same category names, the same search behaviour, the same provider list | Medium. Often the same platform vendor rather than the same owner |
| Support replies | The same canned wording and the same ticket format from both desks | Medium. Suggestive, and easy to test with one identical question to each |
| A shared word in the brand names | Two names that sound related | Weak. Names are marketing. Several unrelated operators reuse the same handful of words |

Why this page names no groups
Ownership claims need a source: a company register entry, a licence record or the operator's own statement. We hold none for the brands in the table above, so this page teaches you the checks instead of guessing. Two similar names are not evidence, and a shared platform vendor is not shared ownership.
Why the welcome bonus rarely stacks across sister casinos
The short version: welcome offers are written per person, not per website. Read the conditions published under the table above and the wording repeats across operators. One says one bonus per person. Another says one redemption per player. Nearly every entry says new customers only, and several add first deposit only. None of those sentences is limited to a single domain, and a group that operates several brands on one platform can see one account holder across all of them.
How the group actually matches you is mundane. The same identity documents, the same payment instrument, the same address, the same device and the same network. Verification exists precisely to connect those dots, so the attempt to collect a second welcome offer inside one network tends to surface at the worst moment: not at registration, and not while you are playing, but when a payout is reviewed.
What works
- If you like one brand's terms, a sister usually runs the same rulebook, so there is less to read.
- Verification documents accepted by one brand are usually accepted in the same form by the other.
- A second brand in the group can hold a different game mix or a different live studio selection.
- Payment methods and processing times tend to carry over, which makes the payout timing predictable.
What to watch
- One welcome offer per person across the group is the norm, not one per site.
- A duplicate-account finding can void a bonus and freeze a balance at review time.
- A group level restriction on an account can apply to every brand it runs.
- The same unfavourable clause, such as a cap written as a multiple of the deposit, is likely to appear on both sites.
What travels between sister brands and what does not
Assume that anything the operator uses to identify you travels, and that anything you set up for your own protection might not. Verification status often carries because the documents sit with the same compliance team. Bonus entitlement carries, since it is written per person. A restriction placed on an account can carry, because it is the same account holder in the same system.
Deposit limits, cooling off periods and self-exclusion are the ones to check rather than assume. A limit set on one brand is not automatically applied to its sister unless the operator says so in writing, and the wording differs between groups. If those tools are the reason you are asking, do not rely on a sister site inheriting them: ask support to confirm the scope in writing, and read the self-exclusion page for what state schemes cover and what they do not.
- 01
Compare the two footers
Company name, registered address and licence number. Identical entries mean one contracting party behind two brands, which is the only signal strong enough to act on by itself.
- 02
Diff the general terms
Copy a distinctive clause from one site and search for it on the other. Shared legal text, in the same order, is close to conclusive.
- 03
Check the login screen
If both sites hand you to the same single sign-on system, you have one credential across both, and the operator can see both accounts.
- 04
Ask both desks the same question
Something specific, such as whether a bonus already claimed on brand A rules out the welcome offer on brand B. Identical wording back is a strong tell, and the answer is what you actually needed.
- 05
Decide which brand to use, then use one
Pick on the conditions rather than the theme: wagering base, maximum bet, expiry and withdrawal cap. Running two accounts in one group to chase a second offer risks the balance on both.
Is there any real advantage in playing at a sister casino?
Sometimes, and it is worth being precise about when. The good case is a network where you already trust the payout behaviour and the sister brand carries a game mix the first one lacks, such as a wider live section or a different provider set. You keep the process you know and change the catalogue, which is the live dealer question more than a bonus question.
The bad case is chasing offers. Two 100% matches in one group is not 200%, it is one bonus and one investigation. Among the conditions under the table, turnover windows run from three days to fourteen, caps run from five times the deposit to ten times the bonus, and at least one offer has to be activated within 48 hours. Clearing one offer properly inside those limits is already demanding. The maths is on the wagering requirements page, and offers without a turnover requirement are on the no wagering page.
Pick a row on its conditions
The terms under each entry are the operator's own wording, which is also the fastest way to spot two brands running the same rulebook.
Get bonusSister sites, new brands and the legal position in Australia
New names appear in this market constantly, and a proportion of them are additional front ends on platforms that already existed rather than new operators. That is the main thing to carry into a new brand's welcome page, along with the checks on the new casinos page and the operator tests on the legit casinos page.
The law does not change with the skin. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 prohibits the supply of online casino games, pokies included, to a person physically present in Australia without a licence, and no such licence exists for these products, so every brand in the table is offshore. Enforcement was strengthened in 2017, when the communications regulator gained a complaints process for prohibited services and the ability to have non-compliant sites blocked, and the Act's obligations sit on the business supplying the service rather than on the individual placing a bet. The detail is on the legal page, and the signals worth checking on any brand, sister or not, are on the most trusted casinos page.
