How to reach the editors
| Corrections and sources | The editorial mailbox: editors at this site's own domain. Put the page address in the subject line. |
|---|---|
| Content and partnership enquiries | The same mailbox. Name the page or section the enquiry concerns in the first line, or it will be read as a mass mailing. |
| A deposit, withdrawal or account problem | The operator's own support, not us. We hold no account with any operator, cannot see yours and cannot move money. |
| Help with your own gambling | The services listed on the responsible gambling page, which reach people trained for it. |
There is no phone number and no live chat, and that is deliberate: this is a reference site, not an operator. Anything that needs an account looked at has to go to the company holding the account.
What to include in a correction
- The address of the page, so there is no guessing between similar comparison pages.
- The sentence as it stands, copied rather than described.
- What the correct figure or statement is.
- Where that comes from: the operator's terms page, a game studio's information screen, the legislation, or an official publication. A source is what makes a report actionable.
- Optionally, the date you saw it, because offers change and a screenshot with a date settles most disagreements.
A report without a source still helps, because it flags a page for rechecking. It just takes longer, since the figure has to be traced from scratch before anything on the page can move.
What happens to a report
The figure is checked against the source you sent and against the one already on file. If your version holds, the page changes and the checked date on it moves. If the two sources disagree, the operator's current published terms win, because that is the document that binds a player. If nothing can be sourced either way, the number comes off the page rather than being replaced with an estimate.
Structural corrections get the same treatment as numbers. If a page describes a payment method, a bonus mechanic or a piece of law in a way that is misleading rather than merely incomplete, say so and it will be rewritten. How the offers and scores are put together in the first place is described on the about page.
What we cannot do
- Release a withdrawal or reverse a decision. An operator's bonus and verification decisions are between you and that operator. We have no standing in it.
- Look up your account, balance or bonus status. No operator gives a comparison site access to player accounts, and we would not want it.
- Remove a clause from a row because an operator dislikes seeing it. Terms are printed as published.
- Give legal advice about your own position. The legal page describes what the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 says. What it means for you personally is a question for a lawyer.
- Recommend what you should bet. The pages explain how the mechanics work, including how wagering is calculated, and stop there.
What happens to your message
It is read by the people who write the pages. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. It is not forwarded to any operator, and an operator never learns that a correction came from you. Nothing is stored beyond the mailbox itself, which is covered in the privacy page, and nothing you send is published without asking you first.
Correction reports are answered before anything else in the queue. We do not advertise a response time, because a number like that is only worth printing if it can be kept every week.
